Gingham for Fall

Hello Dolls & Gents

Say it ain’t so… a new post, FINALLY! Life for Stylecoaster has literally been a roller coaster of all things great! I’ve been busy being in-love and all the gushy stuff that goes with it! I’ll sum it up and say I’ve been busy with life… I’m currently pregnant and we are expecting a baby boy in less than 15 weeks, YIKES!!! We are beyond excited to become first time parents!

Let’s get down to why I’m here!!! This look! Who doesn’t love gingham?!? If I do, you should too! Hehe! I noticed how popular it became right before Summer started. While I’m not one to always hop on the trend wagon, I had to with this print! Everyone was rocking the cutest gingham styles this Summer, including myself! Such a classic, fun, and versatile print; I just had to add a few pieces to my closet! Best thing about this print is that it works for all shapes and size and skin tones!

If you know Stylecoaster, you know I always, always, always add pieces to my closet that transition easily into the next season or seasons; these are pieces that aren’t exclusive to just one season. With gingham it’s no different. Now that we are well into Fall there’s no need to stow away this fun print! While bright colors and whites look amazing with this print, using gingham print correctly, it will work well into Fall! It’s as simple as this; pair your gingham prints with deep, rich colored pieces! Opt for dark navy colors, maroons, rich shades of burgundies, blacks, or dark greens.

Here, I paired a gingham shirt with a black faux leather skirt. To add a little more of the Fall feeling and uniqueness to this look, I opted for a pair of velvet emerald green pumps. Adding the leather and dark colored pumps definitely gives this look all the Fall feels.

I’ll continue to curate looks to share with you all that are for everyone!! I may not be as elaborate in my blog posts but I’ll be sure to link the items I rock for you to shop… ( most of my DMs -messages I’ve gotten recently you guys are requesting me to provide direct links to shop). Also, I am not in “maternity clothes” YET and the goal is not to be… but these looks of course are bump friendly as my stomach grows!

Here’s a few of my favorite gingham tops and dresses that are perfect transition pieces for Fall below!!!
